Map Languages, Races, Ethnicities, and Marital Statuses

Overview

This article helps you map demographic values from your electronic health record (EHR) to Calvient values. You may need this when communication or demographic syncing is inconsistent.

Before you begin

• You need access to Concept Mapping.
• Your EHR values must already exist in the selected tab.

Steps

1. Click Config.
2. Click Platform Settings.
3. Click Concept Mapping.
4. Click one of these tabs: Languages, Races, Ethnicities, or Marital Statuses.
5. Find the EHR value in the right-hand column.
6. Click the dropdown in the Calvient column.
7. Select the matching Calvient value.
8. Wait for the mapping to save.
9. Repeat for each unmapped row.

Troubleshooting

• If a row has a red border, then that mapping is missing or invalid.
• If a tab shows a red dot, then at least one row in that tab still needs a valid mapping.
